Terms and conditions

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

StintLoop is made and offered by AiHawk Tobias Grunow, a sole proprietorship under Swiss law, Libellenweg 12, 8048 Zürich, Switzerland ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@stintloop.com.

These terms apply to the StintLoop app for macOS, including its free plan, its trial and its paid plans, and to this website. By installing or using StintLoop you agree to them. The contract language is English.

2. Buying StintLoop

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you buy StintLoop, you buy it from Paddle, and Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase, payment, invoicing and taxes. These terms apply to your use of StintLoop and the licence we grant you.

3. Free plan and trial

4. Subscriptions

5. Team licences

When we offer the Team plan, a Team licence is bought for a number of seats. The buyer is responsible for assigning seats and for making sure the people using them follow these terms.

6. Your licence

While your plan is active we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use StintLoop. A Pro licence covers one person on up to three Macs. A Team licence covers one person per seat bought. All rights not expressly granted remain with us.

You may not:

7. Your Jira and Linear accounts

StintLoop connects directly to the Jira or Linear account you choose, using credentials you provide. You are responsible for those credentials, for what you send to these services, and for using them in line with their own terms. StintLoop shows you every change before it is sent and sends it only after you confirm it. We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of those services.

8. Your data

StintLoop stores your sessions and settings on your Mac. Keep your own backups, for example with Time Machine. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

9. Updates and support

We update StintLoop to fix problems, keep it secure and add features, and the app installs updates when you allow it. We may change or remove features. We answer support requests by email as quickly as we can, without a guaranteed response time. We can't guarantee that StintLoop runs on every version of macOS.

10. Open-source components

StintLoop includes open-source software. Those components are licensed under their own licences, which are listed in the app.

11. Warranty

We build StintLoop with care, but we provide it as it is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it is free of errors or interruptions or that it fits a particular purpose. The trial lets you check that before you buy.

12. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for personal injury. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost data or lost profit, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for StintLoop in the 12 months before the damage occurred. Mandatory consumer protection law is not affected.

13. Ending the licence

You can stop using StintLoop at any time. We may end a licence with immediate effect if these terms are seriously breached, for example by sharing licence keys or bypassing licence checks. If we stop offering StintLoop, we will tell paying customers at least 60 days in advance and refund the unused part of prepaid subscriptions.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. We will announce material changes on this page and by email to paying customers at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.

15. Final provisions

If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest stays in force. These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in and can also bring a claim before its courts.
